Changing Your cPanel Password

Regularly changing your cPanel password is a good security practice, especially if you suspect unauthorized access.

Method 1 — Through Your Ellebyte Dashboard

1. Log in to your Client Dashboard.
2. Click Subscriptions in the sidebar.
3. Click Manage on your active plan.
4. Click Change cPanel Password.
5. Enter and confirm your new password, then click Update.

Method 2 — From Within cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Click your username in the top-right corner and select Password & Security.
3. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm the new one.
4. Click Change your password now!

Password Requirements

• Minimum 8 characters (12+ recommended)
• Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
• Do not reuse recent passwords
